The history behind our agency?

Shaw Insurance & Associates began in 1998 to help people protect themselves and their families. Our agency has spent a lot time over the last 20 years asking questions and listening to what people have to say and think about the industry. Our experience and continuing education has proven beneficial in helping individuals/families with their insurance decisions. Our philosophy is simple – maintain the highest integrity in the industry and always put the interest of the client first.    

What makes us different from other brokers?

As an independent agency, we have the ability to choose from a number of companies which allows us to be more competitive and better serve our clients needs. We have established relationships with reputable organizations over the years that specialize in certain areas. With the constant changes in the industry, these relationships combined with our continuing education allow our office to stay updated on new products, market trends, and changes in the laws.

I’m a Georgia native and began my business in 1998 in White, Georgia. I currently live in Woodstock with my wife and two children. I enjoy spending time at Lake Allatoona with my family and friends, traveling, reading, and staying active in the community.

I began working in the insurance industry 10 years ago. My passion for helping others is what I enjoy most about working at Shaw Insurance. I’m a Georgia native and have lived in the Kennesaw area for the past 15 years. My free time is spent hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

I grew up in upstate New York and moved to Georgia in 2000.  I previously worked in the banking industry for nine years, and have worked in the insurance industry since 2012. I live in Canton with my husband, three children, and our dog.  My hobbies are cheering my kids on at their ball games,  gardening, and traveling.
